Prudential Joyce Realty is proud to be spearheading the second annual Light It Up Blue Rockland Campaign. The campaign is a month long community initiative with the dual goals of increasing Autism Awareness and raising money for Autism Speaks. Autism Speaks is a 501c3 organization dedicated to funding research into the causes and potential treatments for Autism, raising community awareness about Autism, and providing advocacy for autistic people and their families. In 2010, Autism Speaks launched the Light it Blue For Autism Campaign. April is Autism Awareness month. Just this week, new data came out indicating Autism is found in one out of 88 children. Autism is reaching epidemic proportions, making this campaign it is a very worth cause. In 2011, Light It Up Blue Rockland was able to raise over $15,000 for Autism Speaks, despite the tough economic environment. Last year, over 40 local vendors participated in the Light It Up Blue Rockland fundraiser, we are hoping to expand on that this year. Join The Cause. Host an Event, Plan a party, Be Creative.
